Areas of Treatment
Trauma:
I approach trauma and PTSD from a perspective that we are all human doing the best that we can with what we have. The ways in which you developed and adapted during a traumatic experience helped protect you at the time. It is when you are no longer in danger that those strategies you survived with cease to serve you. I help by guiding you through processing your past and finding new ways to thrive not just survive.
Sex Therapy:
How someone has sex, is intimate and define their relationships varies dramatically from individual to individual or couple to couple. Sex is a taboo subject in American culture and many important experiences such as kinkiness, alternatives to monogamy, and intimacy that exists on a spectrum are often not discussed. This is a shame because sex is not a one size fits all.
Relationship Issues:
I work with individuals and couples in order to achieve greater satisfaction and safety from their relationships. I support people in building greater boundaries, learning communication skills and healing past emotional wounds that get in the way of intimacy.
Life Transitions:
Change is inevitable and can come at any point in life. It can leave us feeling overwhelmed, lost, and or guilty. Too often change requires us to resolve issues that resurface from the past. Even those that welcome change struggle to grapple with life transitions at times. It might be a planned change or an unexpected one. Regardless of your foresight, change is hard. For it is not just you circumstances or environment that changes, it is you as well.
Virtual Therapy

Virtual therapy provides accessibility, convenience, comfort and time saving benefits. By having a virtual practice people who live in other states, or are in rural areas can access a specialized therapist like myself. You can schedule an appointment during your lunch break at work or during your babies nap. Our sessions are done from the comfort of your own home, office or parked car. Without a commute to and from an office, you will find you have more time to focus on what is really important. Which is healing and growing.
